Hello everyone…
Can you please help me with my problem…
I am using Lotus “Notes 8.5”, not because I want to, but I have to.
I see that whenever I attached a file, by default it zips the file.
So every time I have to “un-check” the zip attachment dialogue box.
What i want to do is that make it default not to press the "un-check" box every time i used it…
Is the zip check box can remains unchecked by default? For Preferences I don't see anything.

Hello,
You would need to check whether changes to the mail template and FREE. Except that you are an administrator and know what he does.
Maybe you should also check if you use third party software to zip attachments. I know some software that does this. If so,it would be much easier to stop auto zip process.

It looks like you are having a few problem using Lotus Notes. The problem you have mentioned here is very uncommon with Lotus Notes 8.5. I was wondering are you a remote user of lotus notes? You can try copying the file and pasting it directly into your mail other than attaching the file using the attachment process. You can visit this link for some help.
