EFS stands for Encrypting File System, which is designed for protecting the confidentiality of a file. It’s protects the system by harmful attackers (hackers) and does not allow them to access your computer.

The advantage of EPS is that it provides the core file encryption that technology use to store encrypted files. It keeps the file safe from intruders who might gain unauthorized access to your network. They always steal your data.

The disadvantage of EPS is that if the user encrypted key are stored on the server at the time of migration then an unprofessional migration can result in loss of data.
