It is compulsory to uninstall the older edition of any software if you want any new version of the software.

Follow the steps given below to uninstall the framework.

Navigate to Control Panel.

Double-click on Add/Remove or Add or Remove Programs.

Under the Add/Remove Programs section dialog box select for Microsoft dot Net Framework (English) v1.0.3705.

If you are Windows 2000 or Windows XP, then select to Remove. Else hit on Click/Remove.

There are three ways to uninstall a program in Microsoft Windows: one, from the Control Panel; two, program’s own uninstaller; and three, using third-party uninstallers. Since the program you want to get rid of is Microsoft .NET Framework, the number two option is not possible because it doesn’t appear in the Start menu and it doesn’t have the usual uninstall program that’s normally included with a program.

The easiest way to uninstall .NET Framework is from the Control Panel. Click “Start,” “Control Panel,” and then “Add or Remove Programs.” Scroll down and look for the .NET Framework you want to uninstall. Click it to select then click “Uninstall” or “Remove” and then just follow the instructions. When it is finished, restart your computer. The third option is to install a third-party application like Revo Uninstaller.

Download the free version and install it. Once installed, run Revo Uninstaller then select the .NET Framework you wish to uninstall. Click “Uninstall” then follow the instructions. This will remove everything the program created on your computer.
