Hello everyone,

I am trying to use an audio grabber program in my Soundcard, but I cannot. It keeps on telling me there is an unidentified error. The soundcard uses windows XP. It also advises me to make sure there are no other programs in operation in the soundcard. How can I repair this issue, and can I use 44100 Hz 16b too?

Thanks.

Hi Jane!

If you are installing the software, you can:

  1. Restart the computer and install again.
  2. If restarting the PC won’t work, run the installer as an administrator by right-clicking on it and select “Run as administrator”.

If you have you have installed it already you have to:

  1. Check for any media player running and exit them.
  2. Check if there are audio background processes, go to Task Manager (CTRL + ALT + DEL), and end them. Be careful not to end any system processes because it can cause your PC to malfunction or even crash.
