Unable to play Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Online

Asked By 20 points N/A Posted on -

There is an error with the game I am currently playing. I am an avid fan of Rockstar games especially with their Grand Theft Auto franchise.

I downloaded a 3rd party support for me to be able to finish the missions in there and this happens to be the error that was produced. Anybody who have encountered this message before?

I badly need help due to if this is not fixed I will not be able to continue my saved games. Thanks in advance for your help.

Stream Memory Fix is not compatible with your version of gta_sa.exe. I'd recommend downgrading it to version 1.0 by downloading and installing this
If downgrading the version didn't work, try these steps:
1. Click Start.
2. On the Search bar type in systempropertiesperformance then hit enter.
3. In the window that came up, switch to Data Execution Prevention tab.
4. Choose the option which says "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select" then click Add…
5. Look for the gta_sa.exe and hit OK.
6. Press Apply and OK.

Hello Marjorie,

First of all you need to take back-up of the progress you made in the game so that your progress in the game is not lost in case of any software crash.

This can be done by copying the ‘saved game’ files. These files are present in a folder named “GTA San Andreas User Files”. Copy this complete folder from “My Documents” and store it in a safe location on your hard disk or any external drive you want.

Secondly, this problem arises when excessive high-resolution textures are added to the game and there is not enough memory to load them.

You need to install ASI plug-in from here to fix this issue
