I reinstalled my windows due to a recent hardware crash and after installation I tried to install AVG antivirus but the installation automatically exits without an error or something else. Same is the case of other antivirus softwares. I know it is due to some spyware or malware but please submit me solution as I cannot find it anywhere else.
Check if all the system requirements of your anti virus are met by your computer. Also check for the compatibility of your software. If your computer is compatible to a Service Pack 2 and you have some other service pack, it would not install. Another program could be because there is still a virus on your computer system. If you've used the internet before installing the anti-virus, then this is most likely the problem.
What you need to do is to re-boot your computer and start in the safe mode. The safe mode leaves you with no restrictions and you can install the anti-virus. Run it once you've installed it and remember to get the anti-spyware and anti-malware as well. Remember to update your antivirus every time and to run the computer scan especially when you have been using the internet a lot.

Another cause of this problem is you have the corrupted installer of AVG. Try to go to their website and download another copy of AVG anti-virus installer so that you can install the anti-virus smoothly on your computer.
When downloading, carefully check the installer you are downloading. Before that you are downloading the correct installer. System requirements must be fit for what you have on your systems.
Your AVG antivirus may have installed some components, so some of them may already be running and are preventing you from installing the Antivirus. If this is the case, Run Windows task manager by Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del, check on the running applications, if there are any with the name AVG, finish these tasks and try and install AVG then (you need to be logged in as administrator).
