Twelve Function Keys Present On The Keyboard
You all must have the function keys from F1 to F12 present on the keyboard. They have different functions depending on the program running. When there is no dedicated program running in the active window, these function keys control the various hardware attributes such as the brightness of the screen, the volume of the inbuilt speakers, etc. During startup, these are used to enter into BIOS or CMOS mode for custom boot options.
In many programs such as in IDEs and compilers, the functions keys in combination to shift and control keys are used as shortcuts for building and compiling of the source code.
