Trapping flash. Display.loader IO errors

Hello all

I was working with flex SDK 3.4 that I came across a situation that was totally new for me. I also faced this situation when working with SDK 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5.

The problem was that I had a loader class that I used to load some image files but in some cases the image did not exactly exist so I had to do it programmatically. I tried to get detect the IO error with a n event listener by writing a code but it did not worked.

Now I added listeners from other IO error events by using an entirely different technique but this time I was met with an error. The screenshot of the error is attached below:

Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. Text=Error #2035: URL Not Found

Adobe Flash Player 10

Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. Text=Error #2035: URL Not Found.

I searched a lot for the solution but could not find any. If anyone else has also experienced such a problem before and solved it successfully, please share it with me on this forum. I'll be really thankful for your help.

Kindest regards.

Hi,

Check your Adobe Flash Player 10. Check if it is updated to the latest Adobe Flash player version. If you are using the older version in your computer system, check for the most recent version and update your Adobe Flash Player 10. I do that solution and haven't experienced this kind of error.

Best regards,

Some flash problems can be fixed by disabling plug-in-container, some by turning off flash hardware acceleration, and some by changing your graphics driver or reducing hardware acceleration in the graphics driver.

You can reinstall the program to solve that problem.
