Hello!

I been having issues with my Galaxy S5. I am almost out of hard disk space here due to movies that I downloaded. I would like to transfer the files from phone memory to memory card. I tried to do it but when I check it in my memory card, I cannot see any data transferred. Can you help me with this problem? Can you give me instructions on how to resolve it properly? Can you give me also pointers on how to set any files to be forwarded to my memory card? Can you give me alternative solutions for this? Thank you!

The fact that it is not showing the data transfer can mean that the data is already saved in the memory card. So, first of all, verify this fact.

Also make sure there is enough free space in the memory card.

Further more, as an alternative, you can try transferring the data through USB or bluetooth, into a computer and then handling the memory managing task via the computer.

Best Regards!

Hello,

You can easily transfer the files from your phone memory to your SD card using any file manager app.

1. Install ES File Explorer.

2. Browse for any file that you want to move.

3. Long tap the file >> select “Cut” from the bottom ribbon.

4. Go to your SD card.

5. Tap “Paste” from the bottom ribbon.

You can also manage your phone via your PC. Connect your phone via USB, open “Phone” storage. Copy and paste them into your SD card.
