I've been using blogger for a long time now but  I realized that I need to learn wordpress too.  Im starting to familiarize my self with wp and it seems fine for me. Im just wondering if I can transfer my whole blog from blogger to wordpress. Is this possible? If yes, how am I going to start?

If you want to host your own blog and transfer from Blogger to WordPress, you can easily move all your posts by using WordPress too. All you need is the WP 2.0+ and great blogging skills. When you have already set-up your WordPress blog, delete the first post and the first comment then edit the information in the Users/Profiles page.
Go to Manage then to Import. You can just follow the other steps to get all your posts transferred. However, all the images needs to be uploaded into WordPress again. If all is done, test your site. Use the search and replace in WordPress MySQL Database to change the links so that the links you've made would now direct you to WordPress. After editing the intrasites you can now move on to furnishing other areas of your new blog. Good luck!
