Toast Titanium Cannot Write Medium – Incompatible Format error

Asked By 20 points N/A Posted on -

I have been having a recurring error with Toast Titanium.  Almost every time I burn a DVD, somewhere during the burning process, it fails with this error.  Can anyone tell me what might be causing this?

Thanks in advance.

The drive reported an error:

With Roxio Toast 11 Titanium, you can grab any videos and music playing on your Mac, copy discs like CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs and you can even copy a dual-layer DVD-video disc on to a 4.7 GB single-layer disc, convert videos to different formats which can be copied and played in different media gadgets, share and publish videos to YouTube, Facebook, or Vimeo, and lastly, burn different media contents on to a CD, DVD, or Blu-ray disc.

If you are using a different version of this application, you can download Roxio Toast 11 Titanium in

Before burning any disc, check first what type of optical drive you are using so you are sure the disc and the drive are compatible with each other. If you are using a CD drive, you can only burn CDs. But if you are using a DVD drive, you can burn CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs.
