Hello there,

I have the 21.5" iMac that has the 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD, 512 MB Nvidia GeForce GT 640M Graphics Card.  Is there a way or option to have my modem auto schedule internet connection?

Thanks in advance.

Cool gadget you have there Elijah! However, it is the settings of your modem/router that does the scheduling of your internet and it is very possible. First is you need to access the GUI or the IP address of your modem so that you can get inside the settings( normally it has 192.168.0.1 or depending on your device and you access it using your browser). Once you are inside the settings of your modem select parental control or schedule internet connection or schedule task. The hint is its always under settings. Enjoy!

Hi Elijah Lawrence,

There is an application that best suit your description on your query, it is the Auto Connect 3.0 software. This software let's you automatically calls your ADSL connection as the Windows starts if your modem isn't functioning its auto call to DSL lines correctly, you can also schedule the time of running the apps along with Task Scheduler that is inside your operating system, to view this, you can go START > RUN > Task Scheduler.
