Is there any software available that can track time usage details such as when I turn my computer off and on, how much time I spend on it and how much time I spend on any number of activities? Preferably free but I will pay if it is decent.

From what I know, there is a software available for your needs. It is called Chrometa. It tells you exactly how much time you have spent on each application, what are the applications that you used, when did you log in, when did you log out.
