I recently installed a security system at home (CCTV). I'd like to view it real-time while I'm on the go through a web browser. I installed the app on my Samsung Galaxy S2 with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Upon running the app, it gave an error of "ActiveX needs to be installed to view the content". Is there any Android activex software?

No, there is no Android Active X software. Active X is Windows framework. It's not working with android. But flash player is available for Android. This software is available on many websites.
