I hope this is a joke but I am beginning to hear that there is already a Surface table 2 about to be brought to the market. I find it hard to believe but maybe it's not impossible.

Can anyone check on this.

Thank You.

Dear,

Surface tablet 2 from Microsoft is not yet available in the market. But you can obtain it in the coming weeks. This tablet is not the first one that will be launched in the market but this is going to showcase the finest on Windows 8. This is not the first tablet that Microsoft will launch, in fact it is already called as Surface tablet version 2.0.

Surface tablet version 2.0.

Microsoft once told the audience that they called this Surface tablet as their newest addition to PCs that are made to be the greatest level for Windows.

Dear Raquel,

The Surface 2 is currently in the early stages of development. The first generation Surface tablet hasn't even come out yet, it will come in October, being launched together with Windows 8. It is true that there are going to be two flavors of the Surface launched in October: RT and PRO, but both will be the first generation Surface.

The facts that started this rumor were actually job adverts posted on the Microsoft Careers site between June and August. The adverts sounded like this:

"The Surface Team focuses on lighting up Microsoft experiences with touch first computing. A fundamental part of our strategy is having desirable and powerful devices that enable the experiences people want, and elicit their excitement. Creating these devices involves a close partnership between hardware and software engineers, designers, and manufacturing. We are currently building the next generation and Surface needs you!"

In this job advert it is said that they are "currently building the next generation" – this is what started the rumor. What they are saying is that they're building up the team, making it larger than the first one that worked on the first generation Surface, in order to develop the second generation one and make it even more remarkable.

A Surface 2 will not come out in less than a year from October, giving the first generation Surface to have an actual impact on customers before the second one comes out.

I hope this helps.
