The ASA 5510 end of life is used to make the users aware about the end of sale and the end of life of the product which is distributed amongst the public. The versions of ASA covered include, 5510, 5520, 5540 and 5550 along with all the hardware accessories.

The features of ASA 5510 end of lifeinclude-

1) There is no next generation firewall

2) The application is not visible and there is also no control service present

3) There is no web security service present

4) The IPS service is supported which needs a hardware module separately

5) There is content security service which is supported

6) The maximum throughput of the firewall is 300 Mbps

7) The maximum throughput of the IPS is 300 Mbps

8) The maximum throughput of the virtual private network is 170 Mbps

9) Number of connections which can be made in a second are 9000
