Hello,

Suddenly this message appeared on my desktop this morning and I had to click OK. Nothing happened after this but I am a bit worried because it could be a virus or something else. My antivirus didn’t find any viruses but still. Any idea about this message ? Should I be worried ?

Thank you !

Hello,

Most definitely, it’s a symbol of a virus attack on your PC that might make any trouble to your data and operating system. In order to remove this, you have to use any good antivirus software for removing this threat.

Download Norton Power Eraser. Make sure that your PC is connected with internet. If required, restart your PC. This will scan all your rootkits and other system files for any infection and remove it. Please be cautious as it uses aggressive mode to detect threats and might detect any good software as virus, too so be sure of keeping them away from removal list.

If this error appeared on startup, it means it is one of the startup applications that run with Windows. The next thing to do is identify which of the programs is the one. Download the free version of CCleaner and install. Once installed, start CCleaner then go to “Tools” on the left pane and select “Startup” on the right.

Under “Windows” tab, select the first item on the list then click “Disable”. Close CCleaner then restart the computer. If the error still appears, go back and run CCleaner again then disable the next item on the list. Re-enable the previous item before closing CCleaner then restart the computer. Keep doing this until the error disappears.

Once the error stops appearing, go back and run CCleaner then check the name of the application you disabled. After this, download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install. Once installed, start Revo then select the program you disabled among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click to restart later.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo then restart the computer. After booting, install the program back or install the latest version.
