Hi,

Last day I upgraded Suitcase Fusion to a new version but I got the error message when I tried to launch Suitcase Fusion. Have any idea about this error message? I will be grateful to you if you provide me solution to fix this issue step by step. Thanks in advance for assistance.

Alert

Suitcase Fusion 3 could not open the Font Vault at the location “/Users/kbeck/Library/Extensis/SuitcaseFusion/Suitcase Fusion.fontvault”. To access your fonts, please launch the Suitcase Fusion Core System Preferences Pane to create a new Font Vault or to select an existing one.

Suitcase Fusion 3 could not open the Font Vault

I think this is because of the upgrade that you did. You should check if the font vault is not missing in the said location. Open your file manager then navigate to “/Users/kbeck/Library/Extensis/Suitcase Fusion/Suitcase Fusion.fontvault”. Verify if “Suitcase Fusion.fontvault” is not missing. One reason why the new program can’t access the font vault is data corruption.

If the file got corrupted then the program will surely not be able to open it. But even if this happens, you can create a new vault for your fonts. To create a new font vault, start the program then go to System Preferences and just create a new font vault.

You can also use it to check if the original font vault is really corrupted by selecting it again in the System Preferences menu. Suitcase Fusion 5 is the latest version and it supports Mac OS X 10.6.8 Mountain Lion and higher.
