I am using a Windows 2000 computer and as an anti virus software, I am using McAfee VirusScan Plus. But it is not very compatible with Windows 2000. Now I am looking to replace mcafee with a more compatible anti virus software. Can someone suggest a good anti virus for Windows 2000?

I think you are making a good call, as using an anti virus software, no matter how good it is, with a server it is not compatible with, is basically useless. So, remove mcafee first, in order to make sure it will not interfere with your new anti virus software.

Then, I suggest buying an avast software. If you’re low on cash, consider buying one from Amazon, they may have some discounts on avast. Install it on your Windows 2000 laptop, it is highly compatible.
