Hey! To restore mailbox exchange 2007, first, open the Exchange Management Console and select Toolbox from the bottom left-hand corner. Once the toolbox window opens, select Database Recovery Management and then click on open tool.

After the Exchange has checked for updates, select go to the welcome screen. Enter a label for the current activity and click on Next.

Create a recovery storage group and select the storage group that holds the mailbox in the next windows. Specify Recovery storage group name, Original storage group, Recovery storage group, and then select create recovery storage group. This will create a recovery storage group.

Open backup from the Start menu and click on the Restore and Manage Media tab. Select the backup file and the mailbox database to be restored. Select Start Restore on the bottom right-hand corner.

Select Last Restore Set and Mount Database and type in the location of log and patch files. Once the restore is complete, select close and this would restore the mailbox files to the desired location.
