Hi,

I’m facing a trouble while installing the toolset for database connectivity. My project work needs ODBC connections immediately to have the backend access from the front end. The error message showing as the screenshot is interrupting my progress. Can anyone help me in this regard please?

Error 1919. Error configuring ODBC data source. LabVIEW, ODBC error 6: Component not found in the registry. Verify that the file LabVIEW exists and that you can access it.

Hello,

You need to install MDAC 2.8. You can find the complete information on installation steps online. In general MDAC 2.8 is installed automatically on your windows xp machine when the service pack 2 is installed. If you are using winxp then you can chose to install the service pack 2. Visit the Microsoft web site.

You can also reset the registry sub keys using the regedit tool and Mdac.inf. If that is too much to ask for then import the subkeys from another machine from your network.

HTH!
