SRS audio sandbox installer error 1606

Recently I tried to install the SRS audio sandbox for the audio enhancement of my PC. When I started the installation process, the installshield wizard opened up . when I clicked 'next' in the dialogue box, the following error appeared on my screen.

The screenshot of the error is attached below:

The error says:

Error 1606. Could not access network location C:Documents and SettingsAllUsersDocumentsActiv SoftwareActivestudio3

Retry Cancel

I don’t know what this error 1606 means? I have posted this problem to many forums but still could not find the right solution. If anyone of you can please guide me out of this situation, I'll be grateful. Looking forward to your replies.

SRS audio sandbox installer error 1606



This message generally occurs when any value of registry key is not available. To solve this problem, you have to find and replace the key. After this you will be able to install the software. It is a sequential process.

Have you tried going to the Microsoft support webpage and ask about it? If not you can try this method and see if it does work on your computer. Please click the link It is a similar error and can help you to know more about the problem. If the given method does not work try this You can also try to reformat your computer or upgrade it to Windows 7. I hope this will help you.
