I use Sound Blaster Live 5.1 PCI sound card. But when I want to use it in Windows 7 operating system it does not support it. Even the CD driver of sound card does not install properly. Why this situation is occurred and how can I install my sound card?

Sound Blaster Live 5.1 does not work properly in Windows 7
Hi try to follow these steps to fix the problem of your computer.

Insert the CD driver of the sound card then right click to My Computer >>> Manage >>> click Device Manager >>. When you see a sign of Question mark yellow color >>>right click on it >>> select Update Driver >>> on the “Welcome to the hardware update Wizard” click on Yes, now and every time I connect a device. >>> click next >>> next >> and wait until finish the installation >> then click Finish.

If it is not work just right click on My Computer again >>> Manage >> click on “Services and Applications” >>> click Services >>> find Windows Audio right click on it >>> Properties and on the Windows Audio Properties ( Local Computer) click Start >> then on Recovery select the computer’s response if this services fails >>> select on it which you like >>> click Apply and OK.

On your task bar find the Speaker Volume icon >>> right click on it then Open Volume Control >>> if it is mute uncheck on it and close now your computers have a sound.
