Sony Vegas 6.0; codec error; some video don’t play well

I have a problem, I am using Vegas, and I am working with an existing project (which was working perfectly) on a different computer. When I try to open the project in another computer, it opens but gives a codec error. When it does open, most videos work, but for some, only audio works and video does not. How do I fix this?

I think this could be the cause of some codec packs you don’t uninstall correctly. It does usually leave your computer something harmful especially for video editing purpose. And you never notice it.

Try this; I hope this will be helpful

Try to Install QuickTime Movie Player and K-Lite Mega Codec Pack.

After Installing, Restart your computer and try to see if it works.

If not,

Try to download Any Video Converter and then convert all your video to .MP4 file or .WMV, and then after converting , import the converted video  into Vegas.
