I started receiving a c0000218 unknown hard error problem when I started my PC yesterday. I have tried many things and I did restart it many times to fix this but nothing worked. Please help.

To fix the problem you are having you can try the following methods-
- Try running sfc/scannow from an elevated command prompt
- Try running chkdsk, this might also solve it
- You can try running a hard disk diagnostic by downloading the tool from the website of your hard disk’s manufacturer. This problem has been attributed to bad sectors in hard disk, so this might help.
One of the above will definitely fix this.
