Hello,
I was trying to install Google Chrome on my computer with Windows 7 32-bit installation, when this error popped up chrome installation failed due to unspecified error. My internet connection is working absolutely fine. I don’t understand the reason behind such error.

Your problem has a simple solution. Just follow these steps mentioned below.
- Open Registry the Editor: For that:
- Press the Win + R key, and type “regedit” and select OK.
- At left pane, browse to this folder:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Google\Update\Clients\{430FD4D0-B729-4F61-AA34-91526481799D}
- Right-click on the subfolder {430FD4D0-B729-4F61-AA34-91526481799D} and then select Delete.
- Next, browse this folder:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\Update\Clients\{430FD4D0-B729-4F61-AA34-91526481799D}
- Right-click on the folder and then select Delete.
- Close your Registry Editor.
- Finally, Install Google Chrome.
