Bandwidth issues arise because peer to peer file sharing is a high bandwidth application. DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) is a white paper that can be used to solve bandwidth traffic issues.
A bandwidth rule which assigns peer to peer file sharing the lowest priority can solve the bandwidth issue. This ensures that peer to peer file sharing gets the needed bandwidth but gives way to other traffic when need arises.
