I want to send a text SMS from my phone. I use an Android device. But whenever I try to send a text message I get the error code 98 on my phone. What does it mean? Please help. Thanks!

The reasons for your error might be as follows.
- The phone number you are trying to send the SMS to has not been registered on the network.
- Your network has not allowed you to send text messages.
- You don’t have enough credit to send a text message.
- There is no network coverage in your area. So you cannot send or receive any text messages.
Possible solution is to disable delivery reports option from your settings menu. You can also wait for the network to resume in your area. Please ensure enough credit balance in your SIM card before trying to send a text message.
