Hello! Yesterday I opened Google chrome to download important videos, but it was taking too much time to download it, and after some time, it failed. I repeated the process but it failed again. It was very time-consuming. How can I fix this problem so that I can download the required data at a faster speed?

This issue must be happening due to different reasons. First, you should check your computer network state. When the computer internet speed is fast, the download will complete in a short time, but if it is slow, the computer can take much time to complete the download. If you find that the speed is good, but still it is taking too much time to download the file then check on your computers download speed limit.

If that’s also not a problem, then it must be because of too much stuff is downloading at the same time. Download files one by one. If that’s also not the problem, then there must be a virus present on your PC. Scan your PC and delete viruses if any present.

If you have a hard time downloading something on the internet and the download takes too much time and fails afterwards, that might be a problem with a lagging connection. First thing you should try is troubleshoot the cable. Disconnect the network cable from the network port at the back of the CPU then plug it back in.

If this doesn’t work, disconnect the other end of the cable from the Wi-Fi router then connect it back. If this doesn’t work or you connect to the router via Wi-Fi connection, try restarting the router. If the router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about twenty seconds (20).

Press any button on the router to discharge any leftover power or to power cycle. After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on. If the problem continues, contact your network provider for assistance.
