Well, did you check the system requirements of the new IOS version that you just upgraded to, for the problem may be as a result of the new version demanding a little bit more compared to the older version. The new version may be having a lot of applications executing on it which are using a lot of battery power and thus making it to run out so fast. You will therefore need to check if there are applications that you can disable so that they do not finish the battery charge.
The reason for the shaking of the screen may be because of the device not having enough memory to support the new IOS version that you just upgraded to, and for that reason you may want to upgrade the device memory.
