I was installing office 2007 and in the mid of installing it showed a message that ''setup cannot continue because required file is either corrupted or not available''. Now what to do to install it?

The main reason for this problem which you mentioned above is virus. You MS Office 2007 Setup file affected in virus. That’s why it showing error when u tried to set up in your pc. It may happen for anti virus too. Because some anti virus could not detect virus. They deleted important file of may software. So I suggest you to clean your pc by scan from any good anti virus and then collect MS Office 2007 new setup file. Then you try again to install in your pc, I hope it will work nicely if you follow above tips which I mentioned to do.

If you are installing Microsoft Office 2007 when that error hits you there is no way you can continue with the installation. That error is obviously caused by one or more corrupt installation files. To install Office 2007, you need to use a fully working installer to successfully install the application.
The installer for Microsoft Office 2007 comes in a CD and if one of its files got damaged or unreadable, the installation is halted and there’s no chance of continuing it. Since you are still using Office 2007, Microsoft still allows users to download earlier versions of Microsoft Office: Office 2007, Office 2010, and Office for Mac 2011.
To download it again, go to Download Earlier Versions of Office. Here, you need to provide your product key for verification. Enter your product key in the text field then click “Verify”. Once your product key is verified, it will show you a menu to select the language. Select the language you want and click the download link.
In case your product key can’t be verified, go to MS Office 2007 on PC River. This will allow you to download the ISO file and then just burn it on a blank disc.
