Setup DFS on 3 Same Servers

If I want to setup DFS (Distributed File System) repeatedly on the same three servers on my WAN, is it better with DFS partners with the same domain or with Windows 2003 Server?

Setup DFS on 3 Same Servers

Windows server 2003 has ability to support DFS on WAN but you have to decide it whether you yourself can maintain it with server 2003 or not.If you are not confident then you can also outsource it .

Setup DFS on 3 Same Servers

DFS structure that is selected is actual concern to decide which will be better.

1] If domain namespace is selected, then servers have to be on same domain.

2] If single namespace is selected, then you have to use single DFS server.

3] If domain can make communication to original domain in order to authenticate in that case replication can work over WAN.
