To start with reach Administrative Tools, and then look for Active Directory Users and Computers in it.

Go to Domain Properties

Check for Default Domain Policy, it can be found it Group Policies Tab. You have to edit it.

Select the Folder Redirection in Windows Settings

Now, click right on the Desktop Folder, and check for properties

Now you can configure the location of the Desktop folder to whatever you want.

Add whatever user groups you want to add.

Select a group from the domain list in the Security Group Membership box.

Enter the Target Location Folder, and then you have to use an UNC(Universal Naming Convention)  path to whatever location. This is where your Desktop folder be situated.

Apply the settings and then log off.

Log on and you are done.

Do check the location!
