Please tell me how to set up parental control per chrome. I do not want my nephews who sometimes use my PC to access sites that they should not see. How can I do this on Chrome? Do they have this on settings or do I have to download a plug in? If a plug in is needed, please tell me where I can get it.

You can't set up parental control on Chrome and there is no intention to implement parental control.

However, there are other ways for parental control like:

1)  Download "Windows Live Essentials", block whatever you want and apply it on all browsers including Google Chrome.

2)  There are 3rd party extensions for Chrome you can use.

3)  You can find some programs that will achieve parental control like net nanny.

You can make a new user account with limited access to you PC for your nephew. This will provide a complete privacy for both of you. If you do not want to use another user account, then do the following before browsing,

  • Open the Google Chrome.
  • On the right side of the main window, click on settings icon and choose “New incognito window”

This will open up a new chrome window and you can safely browse anything without having get anything stored like history, passwords, usernames and auto fill form data.
