I cannot understand why the server and other machines cannot access the internet despite the fact that the Active Directory has been properly configured. The computers are however in the domain and authenticating server. Here is the list of the settings that were configured:
Server:
– IP 192.168.0.10
– Mask: 255.255.255.0
– DNS 1: 192.168.0.10
– DNS 2: nothing
– Gateway: nothing
– Workstations:
– IP: 192.168.0.11to 192.168.0.20
– Mask: 255.255.255.0
– DNS 1: 192.168.0.10 (pointing to domain server)
– DNS 2: nothing
– Gateway: nothing

These were however not helpful since the server and other machines cannot connect to the internet via the router. What is the cause of this problem?

Hi Rozan,

I have read your problem and I understand your frustration, because I also tried configuring a home network all by myself and it took me days to figure it out. Thanks to my supervisor who did a great job training us to become one of the best ISP Technical agent. Most of the times this error occurs when a new router is configured for the rest of the network. Let's start with a simple troubleshooting step. Please disconnect router to the modem's main connection.Click start button on your desktop click run and type cmd. A block window will appear. Key in this words, IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS press enter IPCONFIG /RELEASE press enter IPCONFIG /RENEW. . What we did is we released the one old IP's your server had and renew it with the new ones. Restart your computer and reconnect now the router. Hope this one helps.
