Hi,

I am hoping somebody can help me with the problem I have with my Altera DE1 (Development and Education) board. I am trying to install the hardware in my PC. The update to send packets UDP Altera, thus the hardware was not successfully installed. How can I rectify this? I will be grateful for any assistance.

Thanks,

Hello Tracy,

First of all you need to make sure that you have made all the connections right (using the right ports to make connections) and tight (the connections are not loose and they are tightened properly).

Recheck all the connections once again. Once you are sure that all connections are perfect, you will get a ‘Found New Hardware’ message in the taskbar on desktop.

Follow these instructions properly and your new hardware will be ready to use.

But if you don’t get any prompt even after making sure all the connections are fine, then this might be a case of faulty hardware. In this case, contact the vendor you bought the product from and get it replaced.
