Search website for duplicate content?
I own a blog and there are many who post blogs. I want a free software or site that can scan the whole site and give me all that's copied within the site or from any other site
Can anyone help
You may use Google and Google is the most prominent in this one. It will drop one version of a page and index and rank another one afterwards. But still internal content duplication may result few problems:
1) The crawl rate is decreased: as Googlebot is kept always busy for crawling unnecessary identical pages;
2) Wrong version of a page ranked which may result the most worst user experiences (e.g page 2 is ranked higher instead of page 1).
3)Â Ranking gets delayed for newly launched sites.
The second way is to use copyscape (or you may use other plagiarising detecting software like turnitin etc.) software that checks your blog entries and tell whether your blog entries are copied from any other location or not. Upon finding out the plagiarism, it shows the link of the website from where your blog entries are copied.
