In the IBM Lotus Notes® 8.0.1 client, can you tell me what the “Search IBM Technotes” button in the blunder dialog box is?

Unable to find path to server. Check that your network connection is working. If you have a working connection, go to Preferences – Notes Ports and click Trace to discover where it breaks down.
Search IBM Technotes
Clicking the "Search IBM Technotes" button that displays on a subset of error message dialog boxes will perform a search of the IBM support site's technotes about that error, and return the results. You can suppress the display of the button on these dialogs by adding the Notes.ini parameter DoNotShowDetailsButton=1 to your Notes client.

This kind of dialog box you are encountering is actually a new feature to Notes 8.0.1, this is activated to cite most frequent errors by customers for previous Notes client releases. The "?" will open a more detailed error information from the local databases. Clicking the "Search IBM Technotes" would activate Lotus application to search your problem on Lotus Support site. Hope this helps.
