I got this Samsung Galaxy S4 last week and today I noticed that the silvery coating is coming off on the corners, I have not dropped or scratched the phone, also my battery is leaking from one side, what could be the problem with this phone? How do I get another battery for Samsung Galaxy S4?
It is not recommended to turn on your phone Samsung Galaxy S4 if the battery started to leak. Also is not recommended for you to start to repair it in any some way because you can break it more. If you still have a warranty certificate to your phone go at the shop where your phone was bought and they will give to you a new one battery and will fix the silvery coating. If any of those cannot be repaired they will give you a new phone. Also if you don't have the warranty certificate go to an authorized dealer and buy a new battery and also you can fix the silvery coating.
You have these problems with your phone because it might be possible that you bought a phone that was weak from the factory, the problems with battery at Samsung Galaxy S4 are a common problem for many users.
If your phone’s battery is leaking, stop using it because it could explode like what I saw in the news. Your phone’s battery is removable so there’s no problem replacing it with a new one. Buy a new battery from a local store like in the mall and buy a battery specific to your phone.
