Hi,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and I like using Swift key Keyboard, each time I set Swift key keyboard as the default, Samsung  standard keyboard reverts the settings and becomes the default, I check the settings again, reset them but after a few use its back to the standard keyboard again, what could be the problem? How can I get swift key being the default keyboard?

This problem is caused by the Android operating system itself. There are certain reserved positions which are checked for keyboard apps. The issue is that Swiftkey is not allowed to occupy any of these positions and hence the trouble you're experiencing. This is allegedly fixed in the 4.3 Android update, so the first step is to try and update your phone.

If that does not work, try using the Keyboard Picker app. At every power-on of your phone, it will ask you which keyboard you want to use as default. Although this solution isn't optimal, it is the most painless one, as you will have to set your keyboard much less often.
