When I tried to install any software on my computer, an error message appears that says, Runtime Error 53. It is not able to find the file ‘olepro32.dll’. So, I cannot install any applications because of this issue. Please give me a solution for this. Thanks in advance.
Runtime Error 53 referring to appearing errors while running Visual Basic program when Olepro32.dll is corrupted or deleted mistakenly. Also, these errors occur in registry problem, virus or malware issue.
First of all, download “vbrun60sp6.exe” as it contains the Olepro32.dll. So install by clicking the following the link:

If you still haven’t managed to solve the problem, do the following things:
Please, do not download olepro32.dll from "DLL download" website as it's not a good idea of solving this problem.
1. Go to start menu and type “cmd” on search bar. Run “cmd” as an administrator. Now type, “sfc /scannow” . This should fix the problem if Olepro32.dll is a Microsoft system dll file.
2. Scan for virus and malware as they might corrupt the Olepro32.dll
3. Try updating your windows as the latest updates may contain Olepro32.dll
4. Roll back to the former specs if you have installed or updated the latest hardware drivers.
5. Use registry fixer software to fix the problem
Try repairing or clean setup of Windows installation if the above procedures are unsuccessful.
Its seems that you have error in your system registry so in this case you can follow these things to solve your problem. You need to reboot by pressing the restart key and then while booting you need to press F8 key several times to see the window options. You will see some options you need to go to the last configurable option and set the windows directory option. Once you have this option your system will look for all the files that are related to system files it will repair all the files. You can also choose safe mode option form the list and then you can perform a system restore point. Then you need to specify the system restore point once you have done this you will be able to solve your problem. After this run a full scan to your computer and make your disk error free and you will be able to install your software.
