Run-time error ‘339’ error message on Windows

Asked By 0 points N/A Posted on -

I have installed TrackMaker 13.1 on my Windows Vista Ultimate machine. I am trying to use it on my new laptop and I am unable to do the same.

Whenever I try to click on the program to run the same, I get the following error message.

GPS TrackMaker

Run-time error ‘339’:

Component ‘mscomm32.ocx’ or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

I thought it could be an installation issue and tried to uninstall and a fresh reinstall but the error still persists.

Is GPS tracker compatible with Vista? Do I need to revert back to Windows XP OS?

Run-time error ‘339’ error message on Windows

Hi AgnetaGaracia ,

To resolve this problem please follow my instructions.  The cause of this error is missing system files.  The system files are

  1. mswinsck.ocx
  2. mscomm32.ocx

They must be in c:/Windows/system but as you know, there are many problems in Windows Vista one of Windows Vista problems is that some System files are missing,  those two files which is the only cause for a  run time error 339.

So what you have to do now is,

Your problem is resolved.

I think there’s no problem with your operating system’s compatibility with the software. Windows Vista is supported by this application. If this is the first time you are using the program, try restarting your computer then try again.

If on the next attempt it fails to open again and with the same error, uninstall the application then check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system.

After checking your computer and since reinstalling the program doesn’t help, try downloading a much newer version. Try visiting and download GPS TrackMaker 13.8.475. This version is fully compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

Don’t forget to scan the file after downloading it to be sure that it is 100% clean.
