I have an iPhone 3 GS and 4S. My 3 GS is updated to iOS 5. I downloaded the Siri in the App store and tried to install it on my 3 GS but I got “Retrieval Failed” error. I know that Siri will work with iOS 5 but does it work with 3 GS? I just need some little advices. Thanks.

Basically, you have to erase the "app" (icon) which you can find on your phone which got replaced or moved during the upgrade to iOS. So, that app will no longer work. And the Siri now in 4S, actually won’t have an app icon. It's accessed by pressing and holding down the Home button or just lifting and talking into the phone (only if that's enabled in your settings).
Once you erase that app, You will have to restore it from the backup, Then it will work. I think this is just an issue for people who got the prior version of Siri available in the “App Store”.

Mainly, you have to delete the "app" (icon) that is on your phone which transferred over for the duration of the iOS upgrade. This application is no longer works. In the 4S the Siri that doesn't actually have an app icon. It's accessed from the property the Home button down, or basically exciting and talking into the phone (if your settings are enabled).
Once you have deleted the app, you have to restore from back up, and I think it will work. I believe this is only an issue for individuals who had the previous version of Siri existing through the App store.
