Hello,

I close the Simulator Console's Terminal window without finishing the Yahoo! TV Simulator window correctly.

After that I get the following error message consistently when I try to restart the Simulator:

Error

You do not have the proper files in your /home/admin/TVWidgets/Konfabulator-Vizio/TV directory. Please manually fix it or remove the /home/admin/TVWidgets/Konfabulator-Vizio/TV directory and rerun this script

Need a solution. Please help.

Thanks.

I think because of what you did with the application, you just close the terminal window without finishing or stopping the simulator window, the application crashed permanently.

Maybe because of that incorrect procedure the application got corrupted then consistently giving this error every time you start the program.

Try uninstalling the program and then install it back. This will fix any corrupted files in the installation and will restore its settings back to default including those you might have customized. Open the application again and see if it works.

If you still get an error even after reinstalling it, try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application when checking the system. Any errors in the hard drive’s file system can cause different problems to applications like this one.
