Hello everyone! I use Gmail to send emails. Whenever I use the reply box, as I depress each key the reply box loses a line and I am unable to see the text above and this keeps happening for every line. Eventually I can only see the line I am typing which is very annoying at times. How can I solve this problem? Help!

You can switch to set the compose email box to open up bigger in the screen.

  1. Hold down the Shift Key while clicking on the compose button if you want to start a new email
  2. Click the little arrow on the left hand side of the compose box and click on “pop out reply”

The reply box will pop out on the right hand side of the screen, which is much bigger than the standard compose box.

Try reinstalling the browser you are using to access Gmail or just upgrade it to the latest version. The browser may have problems displaying the texts above as you type or compose your email message. This happens if your browser is already not functioning properly. If you are using Opera browser, download the latest version from Download Opera Latest.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox, download the latest version from Mozilla Firefox Free Download. If you are using Google Chrome, download the latest version from Google Chrome Latest. Once downloaded, uninstall your existing browser. Click Start, Control Panel, and then Add or Remove Programs. Select your browser from the list then click Uninstall or Remove. After that, open Windows Explorer then navigate to the download folder.

Double-click the installer you downloaded to install the latest browser. It should fix the display issue when reply to an email using Google mail.
