Hi Experts,

I am using MicroC for PIC program v6.2 and v8.1 and GLCD v2.5 software. Necessary registrations for both the programs have been made. But when I click on “start compile” from the toolbar I receive the error message "Registry entry for compiler not found, please install MicroC PRO for PIC and try again".

The screenshot of the error message is given below.

Your earliest solution is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Scott,

I do not think it is possible for Visual GLCD to work with the old (non PRO) mC. You will therefore need to upgrade to the latest PRO version. As long as you have registered version of mC that you are using, the upgrading process should be free. You will do it online.

Carl

Hi Scot,
As you are using MicroC for PIC program and you have installed all files but you are getting an error registry error compiler not found it is happening because there are some files has been crashed or lose data when you press to compile data it will read and because of crashed or loss file it will return an error about registry so you should to get the complete file regarding registry so it will compile properly. Hopefully this information will help you.

Thanks,
