Hi,
I just wish to know if anyone can tell me about windows server 2008 r2 dns. I would be glad to know that someone has an answer to my question.

As you install the Active Directory Domain Services with the Active Directory Services Wizard, it gives you a choice to install and configure a DNS server automatically. The resulting zone of DNS is in link with the AD DS account which is in control by the server of AD DS.
To install AD DS on this system, you can use Server Manager.
