Question on connectivity of the following three things

I have a question regarding the connectivity of the following three things: outlook, yahoo mail, and a lot of computers on a network. I recently installed outlook at my computer at work. It then generated all my emails at yahoo mail. Is there any way I can do this with all the other computers at my workplace?

I want to have a uniform setting or email on all the computers. If this could be done, what if I remove an email in one of the computers in outlook? Would all the other computers be affected? I.e., will they be updated also?

Well, the best way to implement that will be to configure outlook individually on every computer. That way, when you remove outlook from one computer, the other computers will not be affected.

The following are some things to help you set up the outlook mail by linking it up to the yahoo mail:

  • For the incoming Mail which uses the POP3 Server you will use the following address: pop.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 995)
  • For the outgoing Mail which should use the SMTP Server you will use this address: smtp.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication)
  • And then set the account name or the login name to your  Yahoo! Mail ID, and it should be the email address without the "@yahoo.com" part.
  • Then you Yahoo! Mail address that should be in following format: [email protected]
  • And lastly your Yahoo! Mail password
