Query about Windows Update and Office Update

Asked By 0 points N/A Posted on -

I just found out that the official websites of Microsoft Windows Update and Microsoft Office Update are separated. I thought that I am updating my system to its latest updates, only to realized that I missed eleven security updates during the past year. It could be easier if Microsoft have a central website for all updates in Microsoft’s products. What do you think of the idea? I hope there are someone agrees on this, thank you.

Query about Windows Update and Office Update

Hello Jacob Price,

I agree to the idea, but I think even right now you can find quite a number of microsoft's features updates from the microsoft website. The windows updates on the other hand tend to be inclusive of the microsoft's updates so if you want to do a general update for all the applications that you have installed on your computer including the windows operating system updates, microsoft features updates and other updates for the third party applications that you have installed.

So you just need to make sure that you have internet connection and then on your computer click on start and then type 'check for updates' and the press enter on the keyboard. In the dialog box that comes up, you will just click on check for updates. Windows will search for updates for all applications you are running on the system and then you will choose which ones to install.
