I am curious to know how many times you can install and reinstall the PSS software? Can Microsoft be compatible on PSS software? How could I view the PowerPoint of the PSS file?

Analyn,

There is NO limit for installing or Reinstalling the PSS (power Point) software. However, you may need to Re-assign the PPS association.

Microsoft, default setting is Windows and Pic viewer, which you can change:

just right click any PPS file, and click on Power point, Check mark the box" Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" click ok.

To view the power point of the PPS file, other than the step mentioned above, you can download the Microsoft free power point viewer from this URL: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=6.

Regards,

It’s hard to tell what application can really open your PSS file because that file format is associated with several different applications. The applications associated with that file format are the following:

  • * Autodesk AutoCAD – PSS file extension which denotes Plot Stamp Settings.
  • * Axialis – PSS file extension referring to Screen Saver Producer.
  • * Paint Shop Pro – PSS file extension referring to Sandstone Preset.
  • * Sony PlayStation game file
  • * Pocket SlideShow – PSS file extension referring to Converted Office PowerPoint Presentation.
  • * Type Manager – PSS file extension referring to PostScript Stub by Adobe.

If you want to open your PSS file, you need to have the Pocket SlideShow for Pocket PC software. This application is a powerful Office PowerPoint presentation viewer for Smartphone, Pocket PC, and other handheld PC devices. Unfortunately, this is only a trial version which offers 14-day trial period. Beyond that, you have to either uninstall it or purchase the product.

You can actually uninstall and or reinstall the program unlimited times within the trial period.
